Arlen Guitars was conceived in 1997 and, for a time at least, operated out of garages and sheds... it even did business out of Tradewinds in Stroud for a while (sadly now defunct... by far the best coffee & company in town... RIP Roy).  Over the decades many guitars were brought back to life, tweaked and twizzled... until the new workshop was set up in 2019... just in time for lockdown. It's been a funny ride...

Arlen Guitars exists to provide the very best instrument care at affordable prices. All levels of repair work are undertaken, from restringing through to full rebuilding. There's no charge for evaluation and assessment, quotes are without obligation or charge, and you'll be kept up to date with regular emails and photos throughout the work - good comms are essential, after all!  I strive to achieve the best playing experience your instrument can provide, not just with tone and playability, but also in terms of  looks, protection and longevity, and so every job includes complimentary instrument cleaning and finish protection; I will also carry out minor repairs to cases without charge.  Advice is always free - even if it's just 'What strings are best for my guitar?', or 'When do I need a neck reset?'
